We engaged Tom Fitzjames the owner of Fitzjames Construction to carry out a full renovation of our house on Waiheke Island.

The project was split into two stages with the first stage being from August 2017 until late December 2017 and the second from May 2018 with completion October 2018.

Tom provided a full project management service which included his building team of between 6-8 guys at any one time and managing all the sub-contractors including but not limited to ground works, electrical, plumbing, flooring, gib stopping, painting, roofing etc.

With renovations you must expect the unexpected and our project was no different. Tom kept us fully informed not only at our regular meetings with but also as issues arose, he would call us to discuss or if we were on site we would meet.

We found Tom to be a young man with high integrity, totally trustworthy and above all honest. His team and all the sub-contractors he engaged did an amazing job. We have renovated around 15 houses in the last 30 years and we can say that the quality of the workmanship on this project was at the top of the list.
